It's time to give the boys a turn, don't you think? So today, let's meet Shane from the Feudlings series. His last book is coming out next month and I'm very sad. And it isn't even his book! He just gets a short story at the end.
This is what Shane looks like in my head:
Shane was created pretty much by taking Ari, and making someone the exact opposite of her. She's sullen, angry, doesn't trust anyone and doesn't let anyone get close.
Shane, on the other hand, is happy. He's a total flirt, but he's kind and sweet. He wears his heart on his sleeve, he's popular, and has had the same best friend since they were toddlers. He wasn't raised to be a killer like she was, and he has to learn to be the Prodigy on his own.
BUT
There are similarities. For example, they both take their destiny very seriously. They work hard, they play hard. Football is life. And they both love to give Hunter a hard time.
Full Name: Shane Delyle
Age: Almost 18
Book/Series: Feudlings/Fate on Fire
Hometown: Detroit, Michigan
Job: Carules Prodigy. Student. Flirt. Football Player.
Family: Shane's only close family member is his cousin, Charity Delyle, who is also one of the most important people in the world to him. When the Council discovered that he was the Prodigy, they took him and raised him as their own. His parents are scared of him, but in Feudlings in Sight, we see that they'll be there when he needs them.
Appearance: Tall and lanky. He's the tallest of the Feudling boys, at 6'2", but not as broad as Hunter. He's got wild black hair and metallic blue eyes that look like contacts but totally aren't. His appearance is based off my adorable husband, but with blue eyes instead of brown, and younger. Not that we're old or anything...
Best Friend: Hunter Delyle, the Carules Guard sworn to protect his life.
Girlfriend: Ari, after some major convincing.
