Cauldron Bubble Countdown

Continuing on in our Cauldron Bubble Countdown, here's your first snippet :) It releases October 11th!
In walked the most gorgeous girl Quin had ever seen. Long, long black hair fell in waves to her waist, huge blue eyes, and the body of a goddess. He heard Aaron make a strangled noise next to him, but he couldn’t take his eyes from the girl who now stood next to Mr. Zornes, waiting for him to be able to speak.
He had to clear his throat twice more before he could make any words. “Destiny. Hello, I’ve been expecting you. I had your sister in here a couple classes ago.”
“She has a sister!” Aaron whispered, too loudly.
The blue, blue eyes turned toward him, a perfect eyebrow arched. “Yeah. But she has a boyfriend,” she whispered back.
The class erupted in laughter while Aaron smiled like an idiot. “It’s okay. I still got you.”
She smirked. “You really don’t.”
“Thank you, Destiny. Take an empty seat anywhere. We’ve got some experiments planned, but feel free to watch for today.”
Destiny moved away, starting for the only empty seat in the class— right in front of Quin. Suddenly, he loved his life.
“Don’t worry, Mr. Zornes,” she said as she dropped her bag next to her chair. “I’m much more responsible with chemicals than Fate is.”
Quin leaned forward. “Is Fate your sister?”
Destiny glanced at him and back down to her bag, but her eyes jerked back up, widening. Her cheeks pinked just a bit.
Quin smiled.
Another arched brow, and she nodded. “Yes. Fate is my sister.”
“The heavens saw fit to grant us two of you,” Aaron crowed.
She frowned. “No. There is only one of me and one of her. We’re not clones.”
“Is she the one who blew up the classroom?” Quin asked.
Destiny sighed, finally freeing a notebook and pencil from her bag. As she slid into her seat, she nodded. “Probably. She thinks it’s funny.”

“She—what?”

Cover Reveal! Cauldron Bubble

I haz a new book baby coming!! Actually, I have two, but Warrior Innocent doesn't release until January. SO. Let me introduce you to my witches, Destiny and Fate. Destiny is the main character in Cauldron Bubble and she's a feisty one with a big black truck and a penchant for love spells...but just so she can buy new shoes.

I wrote this one specifically because I bribed my cross country team and told them if they would beat their PRs, I would put them in my next book. So Destiny runs on the cross country team and all my amazing runners from the 2015 season have cameos :)

Tada!

 Here's what it's about:

Youve just always been the powerful one. Im the smart aleck.”
Were the same. Im night, youre day. You have to have both to have life.”
You can hide in the shadows.”
And you can shine like the sun. This prophesy is about both of us.”

Destiny doesn't think she's anything special. The daughter of an outcast witch. Her twin, Fate, is her best friend, so that's awesome. They're experts in love potions and selling them to crazy high school kids.

So they can buy more shoes.

But that all changes when their school is attacked by warlocks—warlocks who want her power for their own. The attack launches her onto the path the stars have chosen for Destiny, Fate, and their long-lost father.

Oh, and Quin.

Quin, who's the son of a witch, only tolerating Destiny's presence because she can save his mother. Except along the way, that all changes, and he realizes Destiny is everything he never knew he wanted. The only problem is she thinks if love can be made from a potion, it can't be a real thing.

If they survive this, he's going to prove her wrong.

And here's a sneak peek!

She could see her team warming up, led by the two captains, Shad and Elise. But she couldn't talk herself into getting out of the dang truck. "Stupid Winnie," she muttered. She closed her eyes again and sent all her negative thoughts Winnie's way.
The door next to her elbow opened. "Destiny, I'm going to ask you straight out. Are you a wit-"
She squealed and swung her fist out before her mind had a chance to comprehend what was happening.
And hit Quin right in the face.
He swore, stumbling backward as he grabbed his face. Destiny stared in horror, unsure what to do. There was blood. Lots of blood.
She hated blood.
The world around her started to spin and she covered her mouth, fighting not to throw up.
"Dammit, Destiny!" Quin bellowed behind his hands.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know—wait. Hang on." She whirled in her seat and dug through her bag, looking for the potion she'd used after Krav Maga. "Here. Drink this."
"Now's not the time, Destiny," he growled.
She reached across the truck and flipped open the glove compartment, digging for napkins. She grabbed a handful and sat up, thrusting them at Quin's general area while trying not to look at him as much as possible. "Here. Then drink this." She handed him the potion again, saw the blood, and everything went black.
