In all the years I’ve lived here, I’ve never once called this place my home.

It's WonHundred Word Wednesday!!! I missed last week because I was gone, like, 99.99999 percent of the time and when I was home, I was trying desperately to sleep. BUT. But it's a new week and I was determined to not be a slacker. Without further ado, here is our prompt:

In all the years I’ve lived here, I’ve never once called this place my home.

I’m not supposed to be here. My doppelganger tricked me. When she died, she dragged me straight to hell. She’s the evil one. Not me.
I stare around me at all the misery, grief, regret. Everything that was wrong on earth is wrong here, but here there is no joy, excitement or hope. They feed on each other, these demons with no love. I hide in the shadows and wait until I can fight my way back to earth. Because I still have love, hope, faith. As long as I hold on to those, I will never belong here.

Now see how everyone else did it!

  6. True to all your characters she will not give up, I love that about the way you write even with your micro stories. :) I really did not expect that from this prompt.
